Upper Removable Partial Denture in a Flexible Framework, done for a 65 years old female patient. Missing teeth are 14, 16, 17, 24, 25 and 26.

Flexible Removable Partial Denture is not recommended to patients with perio health problems. Absence of a rigid framework especially to lower arch makes it vulnerable to develop sore spots on soft tissues. It is recommended to incorporate the flexible denture material to a metal framework to protect denture bearing soft tissues and prevent sore spots.

Upper Removable Partial Denture with Metal Framework is recommended if the patient has a history of periodontal disease. With proper design, rests and its rigidity, the denture bearing soft tissues are protected underneath the denture. The metal is made up of Cobalt-Chromium Alloy.
